Young athletes Laura Samuel and Eden Francis have decided to pull out of the Commonwealth Games in Delhi because of fears for their health and safety.
Laura (19) and Eden (21) felt the risks of security, hygiene and the condition of the athletes village out-weighed the benefit of competing at this stage in their careers. Both took the very difficult decision to inform the England Team they would not be competing prior to planned travel last week.
