Welcome to Eden Francis, our newest Samworth Sporting Star.
Eden is a discus and shot-put thrower who is currently top of the UK senior rankings in discus with a throw of 58.99m and ranked second at shot-put with a personal best of 16.53m. Eden, who competes in the Under 23 class, lives in Leicester and trains in the midlands.
Her sporting achievements have won her a place on the team to represent England at the Commonwealth Games in Delhi this October and she’ll be competing at both the discus and shot-put events.
